Hawley, Pennsylvania located in the mountain lake region minutes from Lake Wallenpaupack has some of the area most enchanting antique shops. The village of Hawley is comprised of peaceful country inns & resorts, scenic by-ways, pristine rivers and creeks, historical sites, and a rich diversity of restaurants which makes this the ideal place for a memorable vacation or a wonderful day trip. With so many shops to explore one day may not be enough.
Many of the best shops in the area are located on Main Avenue including The Hawley Antique Center, Sand Spring Antiques and Art, and for the music lovers there is Jukebox Classics & Vintage. Venturing off Main Avenue you can find the Hawley Antique Exchange featuring over 30 dealers in the Co-op representing a wide variety of taste. They have art, antiques and collectibles featuring vintage toys, vintage fashion, and furniture. Miss Elly’s Antiques & Such located on Church Street is full of unique décor, art, and accessories. They have a large collection of furniture both functional and whimsical as well as knick knack and kitchen ware. Also located inside Miss Elly’s is the Village Bath. A Luxury Bath Shoppe featuring Pre de Provence, Gilden Tree, Mederi, and other fine products, gifts, candles, jewelry, and of course rubber ducks.

Another wonderful place to visit as you head out of the town of Hawley is Barbara’s Books & Antiques. It offers an immense collection of antique paper and a smaller selection of other antiques and collectibles. You will find antique books, vintage postcards, photographs, prints, vintage magazines and other ephemera. In addition, there is antique and collectible glass, ceramics, pottery, etc.

As you head out of Hawley you cannot forget to visit the Hawley Silk Mill although not a predominate antique shop it has some of the area’s most wonderful art and collectibles. The 84 Country Store located inside he Silk Mil offers antiques for sale but this is only a taste of what they have. Travel a few minutes down the road into Greentown, PA and you will find the original 84 Country Store which features a large collection of antiques showcased in their own “Antiques House”. A Pink house located next to the larger store which also features a vast array of antiques all over the place even hanging from the ceiling.
